Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital Lab Has Perfect Inspection

      The Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital laboratory director, Stan Siglinger, announced today that a recent inspection by the State of Kansas Department of Health and Environment netted the lab zero deficiencies. This is something that is rarely accomplished. It is a testament to the excellence of the work being performed in the lab. Patients can be confident that their lab work is being performed to the highest standards.

      Renae Denning was the Interim Laboratory Director during the inspection. Renae was responsible for assuring that all lab areas were consistently functioning to the highest of standards.

     In addition to Renae Denning, lab staff Renae Wellbrock, Ivy Cabilla, Estrella Diola, and Linda Newman all work to maintain laboratory excellence. According to hospital administrator, Jean Dean, “These outstanding individuals are to be credited with the successful survey.” Dean also welcomes Stan and Bonita Siglinger (residents of WaKeeney) to their full-time employment in the lab. Both were previously on staff in the department. Stan Siglinger said that he and Bonita are ”thrilled to return and become part of one of the finest and best hospital lab teams in the State.”

 

     

     The goal of the TCLMH laboratory staff is to provide accurate, reliable and consistent analysis in the shortest time possible for the well being of our patients.  We pride ourselves on our hometown family atmosphere. 

      With the use of advanced technology and instrumentation, Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital is able to offer a full range of medical laboratory services which plays an important role in detecting, diagnosing, and aiding the treatment of a disease or condition. 

     Normal laboratory hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday with the remainder of the day covered by “on call” personnel .
