       Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital has made arrangements with area specialists to conduct outpatient clinics and services for the convenience of local residents in WaKeeney.

Dermatology Services are now available.  Dr. Karen J. Johnson will be in WaKeeney for a monthly outpatient dermatology clinic.   She specializes in all aspects of dermatology care, including surgery.  Please contact the WaKeeney Family Care Center at 785-743-2124 for an appointment.

Dr. Robert Bassett, with Hays Orthopaedic Clinic, will see patients in WaKeeney the second Tuesday of each month.  He specializes in Orthopaedics and hand surgery.   For appointment details call 866-428-8221.

Dr. Jeffery Curtis, MD, Interventional Cardiologist with Hays Med Center is available the 2nd Wednesday of every month in WaKeeney.  He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases.  Please contact High Plains Cardiology at 800-625-4699 for an appointment.

      Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital can offer many surgical procedures, most of which can be performed with comfort and ease as an outpatient surgery.

The most common, a Colonoscopy  - used to visually examine the colon; and an  EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy) - the examinion of the stomach and esophagus, are both offered as scheduled procedures.

Podiatry Services
