WELCOME Robert T. Clark, Jr., M.D. and Kristie Clark, M.D. |

Dr. Gordon Lang and the Medical Providers at TCLMH are welcoming two Medical Doctors to their practice. Dr. Robert Clark is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Dr. Kristie Clark is Board Certified in Pediatrics.
Dr. Robert Clark graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas in 2003. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at John Peter Smith Tarrant County Hospital in Fort Worth, TX in July 2006. Dr. Robert was the Chief of Medical Staff at Yoakum County Hospital in West TX. He also served as EMS Director for Yoakum County and Medical Director for Home Hospice. He is trained and experienced in Obstetrics, Endoscopy and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Robert speaks Spanish and has a background in German and Greek. Dr. Robert has published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Kristie Clark graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta in 2000. She completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. She completed her internship in 2001 and residency in 2003. Dr. Kristie was the Director of Pediatrics at West Texas Medical Center and Yoakum County Hospital. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Kristie also speaks Spanish.
Dr’s Clark moved from rural West Texas to WaKeeney on March 15, 2010. Dr. Robert’s family resides in Pratt, KS. “We want to raise our children in a small town, and we like the work of a small town physician. We wanted to move closer to family” said Dr. Kristie Clark. Dr. Robert and Dr Kristie were married in Pratt, KS. in 2002. They have two sons; R.T. (Robert Thomas) is 3 years old and J.C. (Joshua Caleb) is 18 months old.
Both Dr. Robert and Dr. Kristie are on the Board of directors of Predisan, a Medical Mission in Honduras (Predisan.org).
Dr. Robert placed in the top 100 in the Los Angeles marathon. His interests include farming, international health care, international relations, economic development in Honduras, religion and history.
Dr. Kristie enjoys ecology, reading and reforestation. The family enjoys traveling in their motorhome, hiking, camping biking and their two border collies.
Dr. Robert Clark commented “we are happy to be here and look forward to serving the community of WaKeeney and surrounding areas”. |
